what is a nan-made?
established in 2012, nan-made is a small creative studio located in portland, oregon. most days you are likely to find me (designer, Nan Allison) lost in a project at my work bench or my sewing machine. i might be assembling a batch of salvaged wool bags, tweaking a pattern for the perfect vintage fit sweatshirt, or hand quilting a pillow- and honestly sometimes i’m just hanging out watching a movie on my 1994 Panasonic tv/vcr combo. either way, i’m always so happy to be here and i’d be so happy to hear from you.
